The next step
Apply for a Conversation
This is not a sign-up. It is a request for one honest hour — to see whether the room is right for you, and whether you are right for the Table. The Fire Remains declines a meaningful share of applicants; one wrong-fit member changes the whole room. So the conversation runs both ways.
Apply as the man you actually are.
Who the Table is for
Stated plainly so a man can place himself before he applies.
- ◇The second half. Men generally fifty and older. (Forty-five to forty-nine by exception, at the founder's discretion.)
- ◇Proven leaders. Owners, CEOs, partners and senior executives who carry real responsibility. We screen for stature and season, not revenue or company size.
- ◇Catholic. Serious about the faith — or ready to come home to it.
- ◇A man. Men only, by design.
The Application
A short, dignified form.
No calendar here — booking comes after review. Doug reads every application himself and replies within 48 hours.
Step 1 of 3
Who are you?
This is the only place we’ll ever ask for your name. The Fire Remains runs no email lists and no drip campaigns.
What happens next
Doug reads every application himself, and you will hear back within 48 hours — by email, which is the one message we will ever send you. If it is a fit, that note carries a link to book your conversation and a request to take the Inventory beforehand, as pre-call homework. The conversation is booked then, not before. If it is not your season, he will tell you that honestly, too. Either way it is a personal reply, not the start of a sequence.
Not ready to apply yet?
Take the Pursuit first — a short, private read on which created good is pulling hardest on you. It is the first thing Doug will want to discuss.
